Dr. Nakiea Strecker, our Clinic Director, received her Master's of Arts degree in audiology from Northern Illinois University in 2000 and her Doctor of Audiology degree from Pennsylvania College of Optometry, School of Audiology in 2006. Dr. Strecker holds extensive experience in the assessment and management of both hearing and balance related disorders. She works with all ages and offers special testing services to include newborn hearing screenings, evaluation and treatment of central auditory processing disorders, tinnitus evaluation and management, and dizziness/balance evaluations and treatment. She also offers complete hearing aid services at her facility with a unique approach that includes family members in the rehabilitation process as well as auditory therapy.
Dr. Brenda Alred joined our practice in 2010. She received her Master of Arts degree in audiology from the University of Connecticut and her Doctor of Audiology degree from the University of Florida. During her career Dr. Alred has provided a wide range of diagnostic services in a variety of settings including audiology practices, otolaryngology physician’s clinics and a hospital neonatal unit. She enjoys working with all age groups.
Dr. Jackson holds a Doctor of Audiology degree from the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center. Through her clinical education and rotations, Dr. Jackson has had experience with a broad range of services including adult and pediatric diagnostic assessment, amplification, auditory processing diagnosis and treatment, vestibular testing and cochlear implant services. Dr. Jackson is a Fellow in the Leadership Education in Neurodevelopmental and Related Disorders (LEND) Program, with a focus on family-centered care. She is a member of the Oklahoma Audiology Taskforce. In her free time, Dr. Jackson enjoys spending time with her family, cake decorating and scrapbooking!!
Dr. Stephanie Hewett is a recent graduate of the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center and is serving as Professional Hearing Healthcare’s pediatric specialist. She received her Bachelor’s degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders in 2006 and her Doctorate degree in Audiology in 2010. She had the privilege of doing a clinical rotation at the Cleveland County Health Department where she gained invaluable experience in diagnostic testing of children birth to thirteen years of age, as well as, training in auditory brainstem response (ABR) testing. Additionally, she gained further pediatric experience through a clinical rotation site at Hearts for Hearing in Oklahoma City. She thoroughly enjoys working with patients of all ages, but has a special affinity for children.
Terri Bieri worked within the Owasso Public School system as a speech and language pathologist before joining our Group. She is wonderful with children and specializes working with pre-school and early elementary school-aged speech and language disorders in our Broken Arrow facility.
Jessica Green currently splits her time between our Sapulpa facility and the Sapulpa Public School System. She specializes in elementary and middle-school aged speech and language disorders as well as aural rehabiliation and early speech and language development in children who are hearing impaired.
Anna Lamers works by day as a speech and language pathologist in the Jenks Public School System and then helps facilitate our After-School Speech Clinic in Sapulpa. Ms. Lamers specializes in elementary through upper middle school speech and language disorders and the remediation of Central Auditory Processing Disorders.
Beth Howard works by day as a speech and language pathologist in the Jenks Public School System and then helps facilitate our After-School Speech Clinic in Sapulpa. Of interest, she once owned and operated toy stores promoting learning in Oklahoma City and Jenks for several years. Ms. Howard specializes in treating elementary school-aged speech and language disorders.
